\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 36 or 48 hour shifts in the Emergency Department
\n• Patient ratios of 1:5 across all shifts
\n• 2 years of experience required; Level I Trauma experience preferred
\n• Travel experience strongly preferred, though candidates with 2+ years Level I experience may be considered
\n• Weekend coverage required as needed (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights; Saturday and Sunday days)
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC (must have TNCC before submission)
\n• Floating to Pediatric ED is optional; floating to Adult PCUs is expected based on staffing needs
\n• Potential floating to ED Holding and Trauma DOE
\n• No on-call requirements
\n• 24-hour orientation period
\n• Guaranteed contracted hours (36/48/40) per week with facility allowed 3 call-offs during 13-week assignment
\n• Medication administration including IV medication via seven medication rights
\n• Document and communicate clinical findings
\n• Work in high-acuity environment with 60%-80% of ED patients being admitted
\n• Handle Level I trauma cases, gunshot wounds, CVA, neuro-trauma, and other emergency conditions
\n• Use Cerner charting system
\n• Black scrubs required (not provided)
\n• COVID vaccination required with religious and medical exemptions accepted
\n• Flu vaccination required with medical/religious exemptions only
\n• No RQI certifications accepted
\n• New Mexico license can be pending at time of submission
\n• No locals within 75-mile radius accepted

\nThis major academic medical center operates as a Level I Trauma Center and Children's Hospital with 554 staffed beds, serving as a teaching hospital providing short-term acute care services. The facility features a comprehensive Emergency Department with 53 rooms and 68 beds, handling 170-200 daily census with approximately 175 visits per day. The hospital is a Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center offering interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and transportation services.
