We are looking for a skilled Systems Administrator to join our team in Highland Hills, Ohio. In this hybrid role, you will provide essential desktop support and systems administration while working both onsite and remotely. This is a contract position with part-time hours (32), offering an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our IT operations.

Responsibilities:

• Deploy, configure, and maintain networked workstations, peripherals, and telephony systems across office locations.

• Manage inventory and maintenance records for software and hardware assets, ensuring accurate updates in repositories like Active Directory.

• Investigate and resolve end-user issues with computers, printers, software, and operating systems while documenting resolutions in a ticketing system.

• Configure and maintain audiovisual equipment, including projectors, flat screens, and public area systems, while coordinating upgrades and repairs with vendors.

• Provide technical support for internal and external events, including system setups and consultations during the planning process.

• Troubleshoot network and wireless equipment to ensure seamless connectivity.

• Assist in maintaining enterprise systems such as Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory, while staying informed on updates and developments.

• Offer recommendations to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs based on system performance evaluations.

• Provide emergency after-hours support as needed.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support IT operations effectively.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least three years of experience supporting diverse software and hardware in a Microsoft enterprise environment.
• Strong customer service skills with a detail-oriented and positive attitude.
• Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office, networking, remote access, and malware protection.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Experience documenting and escalating incident tickets for efficient problem resolution.
• Capability to support both local and remote users.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team or independently.
