Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
Position: Full-Time
Salary: $150,000–$160,000 annually
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: Valley Stream, NY
Job Summary:
We’re seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join a long-standing community health center in Brooklyn. This role focuses on providing high-quality care for children and adolescents, emphasizing education, prevention, and family involvement.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive health assessments for pediatric patients
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
- Offer counseling on immunizations, growth, and development
- Work closely with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure seamless care delivery
- Participate in case discussions and care planning meetings
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Current RN and NP license in the state of New York
- Board Certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP-BC or PPCNP-BC)
- Minimum 2 years of pediatric clinical experience preferred
