Overview
Part-Time 1099 Contractors - HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Handyman Maintenance. Superior Contracting & Maintenance is seeking insured, part-time 1099 contractors to complete rotating residential maintenance work orders. This is not a job boardno pay-to-lead fees. We partner with property portfolios and pay contractors directly for completed work. You will receive work orders directly from us, with not-to-exceed limits for minor repairs and the option for larger jobs that require an estimate.
Responsibilities
- Receive and complete maintenance work orders from Superior Contracting & Maintenance.
- Perform minor residential repairs on first visit where possible; larger jobs require an estimate prior to work.
- Provide professional service across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general handyman tasks as part of rotating properties.
- Utilize provided materials; all materials are purchased by the company.
- Submit completed work for verification and receive direct deposit payments.

- Part-time, insured independent contractors (1099) who want routine maintenance work, not full-time employment.
- Tradespeople who are self-motivated, communicative, and able to handle straightforward tasks across rotating properties.

Requirements
- Valid General Liability Insurance (COI required)
- Workers Comp preferred but not required (deduction can offset coverage gap)
- EPA Certification for HVAC techs (mandatory under new refrigerant regulations)
- Must provide W9 and valid Tax ID
- Must complete onboarding/training call with vendor representative before receiving work
- Reliable vehicle (truck, van, SUV) and necessary tools
- Ability to navigate a mobile portal/app for job management
- Strong professionalism, punctuality, and communication skills
Disqualifiers
- No active insurance
- Missing EPA certification
- Unwilling to complete onboarding/training call
- Poor communication or failure to follow through on jobs
