Job Title : Oracle DBA
Location: RTP, NC
Duration: 6 months and may get extended
Administering day to day operational support for Production database Environment on Oracle Area.
Responsibilities
- Provides day-to-day operational support of test and production database environments
- Performs analysis, develops, tests, and implements complex physical database infrastructures in support of business application requirements
- Trains user groups on procedures and standards
- Performs related duties as assigned or requested
Possession of skills in core database management areas including:
- Database Administration (9i, 10g, 11g.12c)
- DBMS Object Management
- RAC, ASM migrations
- Database Backup and Recovery Management by using RMAN
- Oracle utilities like Datapump, Export/Import, tkprof, StatsPack, AWR and ADDM report generation.
- Dataguard/Standby Database setup and maintenance
- Database Migrations/Upgrades
- Oracle Database /SQL performance tuning
- Database Operations
- DBMS Standards Management
- Oracle on Linux/Solaris/AIX experience
